On Saturday after the Harvest Race we went to the Idaho Corn Maize with our friends the Ruegner's. There was so much to do! There was a huge bouncy thing I have know idea what you call it but the boys had so much fun on it. Paul and Jay were like little boys seeing who could bounce each other the highest. There was a "corn box" which was full of corn. I think that was Dawson's favorite part of the day! They also had duck racing using old water pumps. The boys got to go on a pony ride and then a cow train. After all of those events, we went through the corn maize. This year it was McCain and Obama. You could go right or left and of course we went right. "Go McCain!" Paul is a walking compass, so of course it was his job to lead us through and he found our way to the end pretty quickly. After, we let the boys take a rest and have snow cones while a folk band played. To end our wonderful busy day, we picked out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. It was fun seeing which pumpkins the boys picked out. Dawson even started eating his. What a great day to get us into the fall spirit!
